Ships Monthly is the world’s number one shipping magazine and Britain’s best-selling monthly magazine for ship lovers.

Ships Monthly is read by seafarers and enthusiasts all over the world, it contains a unique mix of shipping and maritime news, broken down by ship type, with sections focussing on ferries, cruise ships, warships, preserved vessels, tugs, tankers and cargo ships.

The features, written by experts in their field, cover ships old and new, historic shipping companies and their vessels, modern cruise liners and passenger ferries, warships and naval vessels, profiles of docks and harbours in the UK and around the world, and personal accounts of voyages on ships round the world.

In addition to the latest happenings in the shipping industry, the Ship of the Month feature goes behind the scenes on a significant ship to give readers an all-round insight into the world of ships and shipping. The original naval features, of which there are at least one every issue, are written by leading experts.

Latest reviews of Ships Monthly app for iPhone and iPad

Ships Monthly
Love the magazine but would like more North American articles. Thanks.
Good content but bad stability of application.
Can not use application on ipad3.
Cheaper than the paper issue.
Way cheaper than having it mailed from London.
Wont download!
Issues will not download on either device. Deleted.
Errors
I love the magazine, but the app has a lot of errors at least on my iPad 3 with retina display. It just shuts down unexpectedly way too often. Restarting does not help, I have to delete and then reinstall. Also, I wish the formatting would be a bit better optimized for iPad viewing. The fonts are just a tad too small, so you have to zoom a lot. Also, pictures stretch across 2 pages, which does not work on iPads. So this feels like a first beta version, which it probably is. I hope it will be a bit improved soon. Maybe they should take a look at the Adobe magazine platform for iPad, that seems perfectly stable.
